Job summary

Tristate HRH Lab Management in Bayonne, New Jersey is seeking a detail-oriented Accessioner to join our team as a full-time staff member.

The position offers a 12 PM - 8 PM schedule, with pay ranging from $20 to $36 per hour, depending on experience, and comprehensive health-related benefits. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish) with 1–2 years of EMR terminology review and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience reviewing medical terminology in EMR systems.
• Able to troubleshoot problems independently and communicate in English and Spanish.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data handling.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness and reconcile discrepancies.
• Accession, label sort, and prioritize high-volume specimens.
• Perform centrifugation, aliquoting, storage, and preparation for transport.
• Review requisition and EMR orders, resolve test discrepancies.
• Complete required shift logs and documentation.

Tristate HRH Lab Management is seeking a detail-oriented and highly dependable full-time Accessioner to join their team in Bayonne, New Jersey!

The right candidate will have:

• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish
• 1 to 2 years of experience reviewing medical terminology and navigating an EMR
• Ability to troubleshoot problems independently
• Ability to navigate and work with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)

Our Accessioner will:

• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness. Interact with client support and vendors to reconcile discrepancies.
• Accession, label sort, and prioritize high-volume specimens.
• Perform centrifugation, aliquoting, storage, and preparation for transport.
