Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a Class D license with an “F” endorsement or a CDL.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; ADA training and safety training required.
• Knowledge of OrbCad system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive non-air brake or air-brake equipped vehicles to transport riders with disabilities and the elderly on a scheduled route.
• Assist passengers during boarding and alighting; follow emergency procedures.
• Operate wheelchair lifts and ramps; secure wheelchairs and mobility devices.
• Operate a two-way radio and communicate with Dispatch as required.
• Report incidents and maintain fare collection records and passes.
• Complete ADA, diversity and sensitivity training and other required training.
