Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University’s Rehabilitation Research and Training Center, School of Education, invites qualified candidates for the Design and Technology Associate role to support accessible multimedia materials and publications for CTI website.

You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure brand consistency, apply graphic design principles, manage multiple projects, and assist with videos and online content while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or combination of education and experience.
• Experience designing print and digital publications with a portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce a wide range of print and digital publications.
• Ensure all publications are accessible to individuals with disabilities.
• Apply typography, layout, and design tools to create effective visuals.
• Maintain brand consistency with VCU, CTI, and RRTC guidelines.
• Coordinate production schedules with vendors and support multimedia activities.
• Assist with filming logistics, video setup, and captioning.
• Provide backup support for social media content and online newsletters.
• Support project management, timelines, and stakeholder coordination.
