Role Description The Accessibility Support Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Richmond Region, supporting Virginia Peninsula Community College’s commitment to inclusive education. This role focuses on coordinating and delivering accessibility services for students, including assisting with academic accommodations, accessible technology, and support resources. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with faculty and staff to implement accessibility best practices, reviewing documentation to determine appropriate support, and guiding students in the use of assistive tools and services. The specialist will maintain accurate records, help ensure compliance with applicable accessibility and disability regulations, and contribute to training and outreach initiatives that promote an inclusive campus environment.
