Job summary

University of North Florida is hiring a qualified ADA Compliance professional to address accessibility challenges across UNF’s digital platforms. You will develop technical specifications, perform audits, and assist with coding accessibility improvements for CMS, vendor products, and UNF URLs.

The role requires testing with automated tools and assistive technologies, collaboration with editors and vendors, and ongoing monitoring to maintain WCAG 2.1 AA compliance on university web pages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA compliance preferred.
• Ability to test with assistive technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assess accessibility issues of web pages, applications, software and hardware; assist with vendor/open-source products; identify inaccessible content.
• Validate accessibility compliance per WCAG 2.1 and VPAT 2.0.
• Assist editors with repairing WCAG errors on websites and pages.
• Collaborate with the team to implement accessibility solutions.
• Develop and test accessibility solutions; monitor and report content errors.
• Prepare detailed reports showing testing results and compliance status.
• Communicate results to team, vendors and users.
