University of North Florida is hiring a qualified ADA Compliance professional to address accessibility challenges across UNF’s digital platforms. You will develop technical specifications, perform audits, and assist with coding accessibility improvements for CMS, vendor products, and UNF URLs.
The role requires testing with automated tools and assistive technologies, collaboration with editors and vendors, and ongoing monitoring to maintain WCAG 2.1 AA compliance on university web pages.
Department ADA Compliance Compensation $23.95 Hourly
Addresses technical accessibility challenges by developing technical specifications and assist in preparing to code for accessibility issues for Information Communication Technology functionality, and assist usability issues for CMS, Vendor products, and other UNF URLs.
Supervisor reviews work products and reports. Will monitor achievements and conduct evaluations.
Internal contact with ICT users and limited external business contacts with vendors who are applying for vendor product purchases.
Employees are involved in policy making for Information Communication Technology (ICT) Policy
Involved in program direction and development of ICT with supervision.
May not disclose confidential ADA information to others. Must maintain the confidentiality of the medical information house in the ADA office.
Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
This position requires a background check.
