Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or a related field is required.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure preferred.
• Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
• Ability to conduct student intake, review documentation, participate in the interactive process, and coordinate accommodations.
• Knowledge of counseling practices, crisis response, referral processes, and student support services.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
• Ability to maintain confidential student information and accurate records in accordance with laws and institutional requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, student cases, documentation, and follow-up activities.
• Ability to use student information systems, electronic records systems, and assistive technology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accessibility services for students with disabilities.
• Provide short-term counseling, crisis support, referrals, and follow-up services.
• Coordinate testing accommodations, assistive technology, and other accessibility resources.
• Maintain confidential student records and support compliance with applicable laws and policies.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote equitable access and student success.
