Job summary

Clarke University in Dubuque, IA invites applications for the 10-month, 30 hour per week Accessibility Services Coordinator responsible for coordinating academic accommodations for students with disabilities and collaborating with faculty and campus offices.

The coordinator educates the Clarke community on disability access, maintains confidential records, and supports implementation of approved accommodations, reporting to the Dean of Academic Affairs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related area (e.g., counseling, special education, psychology, rehabilitation).
• Minimum of two years' experience in disability support services or related fields.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; proficiency with assistive technologies.
• Higher education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the official university disability services coordinator.
• Interpret and apply federal and state regulations to ensure compliance.
• Determine and disseminate reasonable accommodations for students.
• Instruct students on the accommodation process and assistive tech.
• Collaborate with faculty and campus partners to implement accommodations.
• Proctor and support testing accommodations.
