Vanderbilt University is seeking an Accessibility Services Coordinator to join the Student Access Office in Nashville. The role focuses on coordinating captioning, CART, and other technology services to support students with disabilities and remove barriers in learning environments.
Reporting to the Assistive Technology Specialist, you will collaborate with campus stakeholders to prepare accessible materials, troubleshoot assistive technologies, and ensure timely delivery of accommodations
The Accessibility Services Coordinator is part of the Student Access Office at Vanderbilt University and is a key individual contributor responsible for coordinating captioning, CART, and other technology services and solutions for students with disabilities. Students with disabilities connect with Student Access each semester to receive any necessary accommodations; the Accessibility Services Coordinator works with those students and other campus stakeholders to create an accessible educational environment. Reporting directly to the Assistive Technology (AT) Specialist, the Accessibility Services Coordinator will collaborate with all Student Access team members to aid in reducing barriers across campus.
The Accessibility Services Coordinator will report to the Assistive Technology Specialist. The Accessibility Services Coordinator will not supervise other staff.
