Job summary

Lifeway Mobility in Middle River, MD is hiring an Installation Technician to install and service accessibility products such as wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts. You will load the vehicle each morning, work with a two-person team or alone, and complete jobs ranging from hours to days.

Tools and a company vehicle are provided, with paid training and opportunities for monthly bonuses. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule potential, PTO, 401(k) and comprehensive benefits,

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills for work orders and inventory.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Background in construction, carpentry, HVAC, solar, or installation trades is a plus.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and MVR check.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicle to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair accessibility products including ramps and lifts.
• Load the company vehicle each morning and travel to job sites.
• Explain the project to customers and answer questions.
• Enter work orders and inventory data in the system.
• Work independently or in a two-person team.
• Occasional Saturday overtime.
• All tools provided.
