Job summary

TestPros is seeking an experienced Document Remediation Specialist to support a digital accessibility project in the United States. You will remediate Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, and PDF/UA.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in document accessibility remediation, proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and tools like CommonLook or Equidox, and strong deadline management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in document accessibility remediation.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1, Section 508, and PDF/UA standards.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and accessibility tools such as CommonLook, Equidox, or similar.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Remediate digital documents of varying complexity.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, and PDF/UA accessibility standards.
• Remediate Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint documents.
• Remediate Google Docs, Sheets, Slides.
• Remediate scanned and non-scanned PDFs.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to validate accuracy and accessibility.
• Collaborate with team members to support efficient, user-friendly submission and workflow processes.
• Meet turnaround timelines for both simple and complex file types.
