• The Accessibility Coordinator must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Experience with students with disabilities required.
• 3–5 years working with students with disabilities.
• Ability to counsel and direct students to appropriate University services.

Responsibilities

• Interpret the components of evaluations to determine reasonable accommodations.
• Engage students in an interactive process to make accommodation determinations.
• Advocate for students by aiding them in implementing accommodations and addressing inquiries from faculty.
• Stay current with disability issues and understand legal ramifications to avoid risk for the University.
