Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Accessibility Subject Matter Expert to collaborate with product, design, and development teams to ensure fully accessible products across platforms. You will audit systems for accessibility issues, recommend solutions, and champion accessibility throughout the organization.

The role requires deep knowledge of Section 508, WCAG 2.0, ARIA, and VPATs, with experience in auditing tools and cross‑platform testing on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or 4 additional years of specialized experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of progressive experience with Section 508 compliance and development standards.
• Experience with accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG 2.0, Section 508, ARIA) including auditing and testing tools such as VPAT and WCAG validation toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and development to ensure fully accessible products.
• Audit systems using available tools to identify accessibility issues and recommend solutions.
• Socialize and support the organization’s accessibility strategy and implementation.
• Provide guidance on Section 508 compliance across programs and projects.
• Lead policy development and testing activities related to accessibility compliance.
