Job summary

The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston is seeking an Access and Wellbeing Programs Coordinator to deliver and teach art programs for diverse audiences, including off-site and virtual formats. You will coordinate logistics, manage contracts and evaluations, and ensure accessibility tools are kept up-to-date.

Proven ability to plan curricula, work independently and with teams, and maintain strong community engagement is essential. Weekend/evening availability and physical light lifting are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
• 1–3 years planning and leading education programs for people with disabilities.
• Curriculum development with latest practices and adaptations.
• Administrative experience with technology and organization.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Able to lift/move materials up to 25 lbs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and teach art programs for visitors of all ages off-site, virtually and on-site.
• Coordinate logistics for access programs and contracts.
• Update accessibility web events and communications.
• Schedule educators and volunteers.
• Respond to inquiries from visitors about accessibility.
• Maintain accessibility tools.
• Collect and report program attendance data.
• Support Community Engagement programs and events.
