Job Posting: Clinical Staff - Medical Ancillary Support

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Clinical Staff member to support medical ancillary services. The role involves scheduling, billing, patient data collection, and ensuring smooth patient care activities. The position requires minimum qualifications, including high school diploma or equivalent and three years of healthcare customer service experience. Preferred qualifications include experience in healthcare registration, billing, or scheduling.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments using hospital systems.
  2. Conducting pre-registration and updating patient information.
  3. Processing walk-ins, creating patient charts, and managing orders.
  4. Maintaining supplies and equipment, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
  5. Performing ABN completion, scheduling surgeries/tests, and managing patient communication.
  6. Managing appointment schedules and patient notifications.
