A leading security solutions company is seeking an Access Control Technician to join their team. This role involves hands-on work with clients, servicing and installing electronic security systems in various commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security solutions, including access controls and surveillance systems, and will be responsible for managing projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Reports To: Office Manager or Franchise Owner
The Access Control Technician is a technical role vital to the company's growth. This hands-on position involves working in the field with clients, primarily servicing mechanical locks, doors, and electronic security systems. Candidates should have experience with commercial access controls, wiring, surveillance cameras, and software, demonstrating problem-solving skills in the security industry. The role includes traveling to various commercial clients such as schools, manufacturing facilities, and churches to install, inspect, and service electronic access systems.
While specific brands are not required, experience with access controls, surveillance, wiring, and related hardware is essential. Familiarity with brands such as CDVI, PDK, Avigilon, Brivo, OpenPath, HID, Dahua, Hanwha, Axis, and others is beneficial.
