Job summary

Kennesaw State University is seeking a Door Access Systems Specialist to manage campus electronic door access and security protocols. You will operate access systems, assist with audits, and work with campus partners to resolve access issues, ensuring timely, secure entry for faculty, staff, and students.

The role requires technical education and at least one year of relevant experience, with a preference for higher education IT or help desk exposure and familiarity with SALTO and Lenel OnGuard

Qualifications

• Educational background: technical or associate degree in a related field or equivalent combo of education/experience.
• One year of related experience required.
• Higher education and IT/help desk experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Granting, removing, and troubleshooting electronic door access via system interface.
• Coordinate with Campus Services for elevated access concerns.
• Assist in generating user access lists and access logs upon request.
• Support annual audit of door access privileges.
• Help develop and maintain door access standards, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with system updates, upgrades, and related projects.
