Job summary

Paramount Construction in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an experienced Access Control/Surveillance Technician to install and maintain security camera systems and access control for commercial storage facilities.

You will troubleshoot, configure, and wire systems, read blueprints, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with project managers and clients to meet requirements. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with security camera systems and access control technologies (Hikvision, Axis, Avigilon, Honeywell, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage wiring, networking, and electrical components.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair security system issues efficiently.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with IP-based and analog security systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities
