Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credentialing Operations in Townsend, VA, to serve clients across Logistics & Distribution and other industries. The role focuses on access control, credential verification, and providing professional customer service within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, issuing passes, documenting entries/exits, and directing authorized personnel.
• Screen visitors, contractors, and drivers per site requirements and maintain access-control records.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations for site contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
