Job summary

KeyTrak, a division of Reynolds and Reynolds, seeks an Access Control Solutions Engineer to lead design, integration, and implementation of commercial access control systems. You will focus on hardware/software integration, smart systems, and related security technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant and timely delivery.

The role requires up to 50% travel and a technical degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, configuring, implementing, or supporting commercial access control solutions.
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to interpret drawings/specs and translate them into system designs.
• Knowledge of APIs from leading hardware vendors and their integration.
• Experience with smart access control systems and related security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement smart access control systems and define security goals.
• Review drawings/specs to ensure feasibility and alignment with business needs.
• Develop and review system architectures including door hardware, intrusion, and video surveillance.
• Uphold security standards and best practices across solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing access control solutions and user experiences.
• Monitor trends and recommend new technologies and vendors.
