Job summary

Qualifications

• AS Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Knowledge of Google Workspace required
• Possession of RI driver’s license or ability to obtain
• Flexibility to work beyond normal hours as needed
• Experience with phone systems and security infrastructure would be a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for district phone, communications, and security systems
• Diagnose and repair hardware promptly
• Install/repair data, voice, and paging cabling
• Test systems and verify signals
• Upgrade firmware and apply patches
• Maintain user profiles and handle help desk tickets
• Collaborate with vendors on RMAs and issue resolution
• Assist in testing equipment and basic programming (cameras, portals)
• Configure cameras, paging, and door access components
• Maintain and document system configurations and procedures
• Work collaboratively to meet school district needs
