Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Governance in Reading, PA to safeguard clients in manufacturing and industrial environments. The role involves managing entry points, verifying credentials, and maintaining logs for visitors and deliveries.

You will use computer-based systems to document activity, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests. This is a full-time position with daytime coverage TBD.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of security-related experience.
• Proficiency using computers or tablets and basic software.
• Customer service experience preferred, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Monitor and control facility access by verifying credentials and logging visitors and deliveries.
• Respond to access-related incidents and alarms following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and shift handoffs with accurate reports to Allied Universal leadership.
