Job summary

Allied Universal in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Security Officer Access Monitoring to protect client sites across the Logistics & Distribution segment. This full-time role focuses on controlling entry points, verifying credentials, and maintaining accurate access records while delivering professional customer service.

The position requires at least 2 years of security experience, strong computer or tablet skills, and compliance with background checks, drug screens, and licensing where applicable.

Qualifications

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, processing visitor and driver entries, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, delivery drivers, and visitors while supporting orderly traffic flow and adherence to access requirements.
