Job summary

Allied Universal in Hartwell, GA is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Operations to safeguard clients across industries. You will manage access points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor site activity, and provide customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law; drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points; verify credentials, authorize entry, and log visitors.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access, directing authorized traffic to receiving, parking, and check-in areas.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; notify site contacts and document activities.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, entrances, parking, and perimeter; report unusual conditions.
