Job summary

Allied Universal in Flowery Branch, GA, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Door Control to safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and more. You will monitor entry points, verify badges, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs, while delivering outstanding customer service and calm responses to incidents.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Assist with directing visitors, vendors, and deliveries in a professional manner while helping to maintain orderly access throughout the location.
