Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Authorization Access in Ladson, SC to manage visitor and badge access, monitor entry points, and communicate professionally with employees and guests at an automotive facility. Qualifications

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive facility by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related access-control activities.
Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
Document incidents, access concerns, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
