Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report security concerns.
• Document daily activities, unusual occurrences, and access-control issues in required reports.
