Job summary

Allied Universal seeks a Security Officer – Full Time Access Control in Newville, PA to manage entry/exit points, verify credentials, and maintain security at a logistics and distribution location.

You will provide exceptional customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a visible security presence. The role includes responding to incidents and reporting concerns to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor records.
• Control access to facility areas and report policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and surrounding areas.
