Allied Universal® in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Access Management to guard a busy logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and communicate clearly with visitors and team members to support smooth operations.

This role requires attention to detail, strong integrity, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and maintain logs for visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
Control access to restricted areas and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following escalation and communication procedures.
Conduct regular patrols of facility access points, parking areas, and perimeter; vary by location.
