Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Experienced Access Operations in Atlanta, GA. This full-time role pays $17.60 per hour.

You will provide customer service, verify credentials, monitor entry points, respond calmly to incidents, conduct patrols, and document findings per site procedures.

Applicants must have at least five years in security, be 18+ (21+ for armed), a high school diploma, and pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Control access to the location by verifying credentials, monitoring entry/exit activity, and maintaining visitor and contractor records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to identify unauthorized activity and report concerns.
• Monitor access control systems, alarms, and related equipment, documenting incidents and completing required reports.
