Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Access Control in Doraville, GA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and deliver excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees.

This role offers a flexible schedule with Wed/Thu 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, a pay rate of $15.42 per hour, and opportunities to grow within a dynamic team that values integrity and safety. Training provided; background checks and drug screening as required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation conducted as a condition of employment in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, delivery personnel, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, shipping/receiving areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter; environments may vary by location.
• Maintain accurate logs and complete security-related reports for incidents and access-control exceptions.
