Allied Universal in Garner, IA, is seeking a Security Officer Access Control to monitor entry and verify credentials at a manufacturing location. You will maintain access records, deter incidents, and communicate with employees and visitors to ensure a secure, welcoming environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ (21+ for armed), and passing a background check and drug screen where permitted by law. Daytime schedule with Monday–Friday shifts is available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide access-control at a manufacturing site, following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and log records.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, escalating as required.
• Perform regular patrols of entrances, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Document incidents and observations for post orders and communicate with site contacts.
