Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time - 1st Shift in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will protect client locations, manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide excellent customer service at a manufacturing and industrial site.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to incidents, and enforcing site policies while maintaining a professional presence and collaborating with site leadership to keep people safe and secure.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site policies at a manufacturing/industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain records.
• Observe restricted areas and report concerns to leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents following escalation and emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized access.
