Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license, 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2+ years in security supervisory/management, or 3+ years in security experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a chemical/petrochemical facility while following site procedures.
• Control access by verifying credentials, issuing passes, and maintaining entry records.
• Monitor entry points, access-control systems, and alarm notifications; report irregularities and escalate as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies following site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
