Allied Universal in Monroe Township, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Badge Systems Operator to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sectors. The role handles access control, verifies credentials, and monitors badge activity on a shift pattern from 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM. Pay is $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications include HS diploma, comfort with computers, and license preferences; background checks and drug screening are part of employment.

Qualifications

Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, background verification will be conducted.
Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and direct authorized personnel to areas.
Control entry/exit of vehicles and pedestrians at gates and docks, reporting suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures, notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular patrols and document observations in reports.
