Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, is hiring a Security Officer Badge Lifecycle Coordinator in Secaucus, NJ. You will manage badge issuance, access control, visitor screening, and patrols to maintain a secure site in a technology-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized guests according to site procedures.
• Respond to access control alarms, unauthorized entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor entry points, access control systems, and surveillance equipment, reporting unusual activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
