Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer with badge database support in Northampton, PA. You will provide customer service, enforce access control procedures, and support site safety at a logistics and distribution location.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as per laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points; verify credentials and maintain visitor/access records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing vehicles, trailers, and deliveries per site procedures; report irregularities.
• Respond to access-related incidents and follow escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and business perimeter.
