Job summary

Allied Universal in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Security Officer Access Control with Active Clearance to protect aerospace and defense sites. You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, and uphold site policies while delivering professional customer service.

This full-time role offers a daytime schedule at $18.93 per hour, with opportunities to work with a dedicated team using smart tools and procedures. A DoD Secret clearance is required; CPR and licensing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required or ability to obtain clearance.
• CPR certification preferred to respond to emergencies.
• Guard Card/License preferred for armed roles where applicable.
• Proficient with computer or tablet for security procedures and reporting.
• Customer service experience preferred for client-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, access points, and restricted areas.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access.
• Document observations and communicate information to site personnel and leadership.
