Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Driver with a DoD Secret clearance for Huntsville, AL. This full-time role involves patrolling, monitoring access, and responding to incidents at an aerospace/defense site.

The position requires a valid armed guard license, 3+ years in security/military, and a background check. Pay is $21.21/hour with a standard evening schedule and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization, and document security-related observations and incidents.
• Support the protection of aerospace and defense operations by reporting unusual activity, maintaining accurate logs, and following applicable site requirements.
