Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard Access Control in Westminster, CO. The role involves monitoring access, patrolling, and providing high-quality customer service at a technology and telecommunications location.

The position offers a $26.00 per hour pay rate and a weekend schedule (Sat 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Sun 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM). Responsibilities include responding to alarms, maintaining logs, and enforcing site policies while delivering a professional presence.

Qualifications

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document relevant activity in required logs or reports.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
Maintain a professional presence while observing and reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
