A security solutions provider in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking an Access Control Installer Technician to install, maintain, and repair access control systems. About the Role - An Access Control Installer Technician - Security is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing security and access control systems such as card readers, intercoms, installation of intrusion detection devices, CCTV systems etc. They also provide advice and support to customers on the best access control systems/CCTV systems to meet their needs and are expected to keep pace with new technologies as they are introduced to market.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain access control systems
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning access control equipment
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and update systems as necessary
• Ensure the proper functioning of biometric scanners, card readers, and electronic locks
• Implement and program access control software
• Work with clients to customize security settings and access privileges

• Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate access control with other security systems
