S.A.M.S. Inc. in Columbia, SC is seeking an experienced Access Control & Security Systems Technician (Installer II) to join our growing team.

This is a full-time, in-person opportunity for skilled installers to independently install and assist with commissioning commercial physical security systems throughout the Columbia area and Southeast. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of low-voltage work and hands-on access control installation experience, reads construction drawings, and demonstrates

Qualifications

• 2+ years of low-voltage installation experience.
• Hands-on commercial access control installation experience.
• Commercial security system installation experience.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install and assist with commissioning commercial physical security systems.
• Read blueprints and installation drawings to plan work.
• Troubleshoot installation and system issues in the field.
• Complete accurate job and closeout documentation.
• Mentor Installer I team members as skills grow.
