Parabit Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, configure, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot access control equipment and related low‑voltage wiring.

The role also supports Parabit kiosks, digital signage, and video surveillance systems. The position requires 3–5 years of hands-on access control experience, strong wiring and networking skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience with access control systems.
• Experience wiring, controllers, readers, and door hardware.
• Experience troubleshooting access control at device, wiring, power, network and software levels.
• Familiarity with door hardware including electric strikes and magnetic locks.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, commission, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair access control systems.
• Work with panels, controllers, readers, and related door hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving wiring, power, networking, and software.
• Verify locking, monitoring, and life-safety operation of openings.
• Pull, terminate, label, test, and document low‑voltage cabling to code and standards.
• Configure IP addresses and network settings for devices, coordinating with customer IT.
• Conduct site surveys and attend project or site coordination meetings.
