Job summary

Parabit Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced Field Service Technician to install, configure, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot access control equipment and related low‑voltage wiring.

You will support Parabit kiosks, digital signage, video surveillance, and self‑service systems, providing on‑site, phone, and remote support. Required are 3–5 years in commercial access control, strong wiring and networking knowledge, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of hands-on experience with commercial access control systems.
• Strong knowledge of wiring, controllers, readers, and door hardware.
• Experience diagnosing access control issues across device, power, network, and software.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and basic IP configuration.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform field work.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and repair access control systems.
• Document wiring, devices, and system status accurately.
• Coordinate with customer IT, site surveys, and on-site support.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support and training.
• Maintain inventory and company tools and vehicles.
