Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Operations Driver in Sulphur, LA to service a chemical/petrochemical site. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and conduct patrols while delivering strong customer service and clear communication.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $15.50 per hour. You’ll work a shift schedule that includes evenings and weekends, and you’ll join a team that values integrity, collaboration, and community service.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license in the job location.
• 1 year of law enforcement experience OR 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience OR 3 years of security-related experience.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers by carrying out access-control procedures at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain logs, and issue or collect access badges.
• Screen incoming vehicles, deliveries, and materials; document activity and report access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
