Job summary

Allied Universal in Paulsboro, NJ is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driver to safeguard personnel and visitors at a chemical/petrochemical location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and support site operations with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, patrolling access points, documenting activities, and delivering excellent customer service to personnel and contractors.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/locality.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, visitor and contractor access, incidents, and irregular conditions through required reports and log entries.
