Job description

We're seeking a full-time Field Service Technician based in Erie, PA. This position is responsible for installing dormakaba door hardware & access control systems in commercial buildings, ensuring the safety and security of vital structures.

Base Salary: $20/hr - $40/hr plus mandatory overtime as needed!

What You Will Do

1. Install dormakaba Automatic Access Solutions equipment in commercial buildings
2. Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on automated access doors and equipment in a professional, customer-oriented manner
3. Serve as the lead installer in moderately complex automatic door installations
4. Maintain accurate project and service data through diligent documentation and technical data management
5. Manage parts and consumables effectively, and keep a neat vehicle and workspace

What We Require

1. Valid driver’s license
2. Exemplary vehicle operation record
3. Mechanical knowledge with 2+ years of relevant experience
4. Electrical license or knowledge of electronics, electrical theory, microprocessor-controlled equipment, and/or AAADM certification
5. Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment
6. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
7. Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, and perform physical activities such as standing, stooping, crawling, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, and working overhead
