Job summary

CompQsoft, Inc. seeks an Installation Specialist to deploy and sustain Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems for U.S. Navy sites.

The role involves on-site and remote work across designated naval locations, with hands-on installation, maintenance, and test activities. The candidate will work with a team to configure ACS/IDS/CCTV, perform site acceptance testing, and ensure operational readiness.

Qualifications

Associates degree in Electronics Technology or related field; field experience may substitute.
3–5 years hands-on experience installing/repairing complex electronic systems.
2+ years supporting DoD or large-scale federal surveillance systems.
Active DoD Secret security clearance or eligibility.
Preferred experience: LENEL, DMP, BOSCH, MAGNASPHERE, Milestone, CCTV, Axis Cameras.

Responsibilities

Installation: Install and configure ACS, IDS, CCTV surveillance systems at designated sites.
Cabling: Create cable pathways via trays, conduits or underground.
EO/IR: Setup, alignment, calibration, and bore-sight for multi-sensor cameras.
System Integration: Integrate sensor systems with local network and C2 interfaces for data flow.
Acceptance Testing: Perform SAT and functional tests to meet requirements.
Maintenance: Preventive and corrective maintenance and rapid diagnostics.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues down to component level (panels, NVRs, readers, sensors).
System Upgrades: Hardware/software upgrades adhering to CM protocols.
Inventory: Manage spare parts and TMDE inventory.
Documentation: Maintain maintenance records in system logs and docs.
Safety: Follow safety standards, including tower work.
