Job summary

CompQsoft Inc. seeks an Engineering Technician to install, maintain, and sustain Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV systems for U.S. Navy operations in San Diego. The role includes on-site deployment, troubleshooting, and system upgrades, with travel to Naval sites as required.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in complex electronic systems and an active DoD Secret clearance or eligibility. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates degree or industry cert preferred.
• 2–5 years' hands-on experience with complex electronic systems; DoD or federal surveillance experience preferred.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or eligibility.
• Travel up to 50% and lifting up to 50 lbs; able to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Installation and deployment of ACS, IDS, CCTV at operational sites.
• Cable pathways and infrastructure installation.
• SAT and acceptance testing for system performance.
• Maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.
• Documentation and safety compliance.
