Job summary

Next Level Technician is seeking a Lead Low Voltage Access Control Technician in Dallas, TX. You will install, troubleshoot, and program security and access control devices and CCTV systems while reading blueprints and ensuring safety on job sites.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial installation, familiarity with telecom networks, and preferred certifications (BICSI, Lift, OSHA). You will travel within Texas as needed with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial installation experience (access control/CCTV).
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks.
• Programming experience in access control and CCTV a plus.

Lead Access Control Technician - Dallas, Texas

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission security and access control devices.
• Install door hardware (mag locks, electric strikes, etc.).
• Install, service, and troubleshoot CCTV systems.
• Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints.
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights).
• Experience with manufacturers such as Bosch, Open Options, Lenel, Genetec etc is preferred.
• Certifications are a PLUS.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial installation experience (access control/CCTV).
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks.
• Programming experience in access control and CCTV a plus.
• Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus.
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots).
• Willingness to travel to job sites within the Texas region as needed.
